John C. Sokatch practices in the areas of general civil litigation, including commercial litigation, enforcement of intellectual property rights for trademarks, copyrights, and patents, real estate, personal Federal Income tax matters, and probate matters. He has also assisted clients in estate planning, oil and gas leasing, prosecution of intellectual property, and entity formations. Mr. Sokatch graduated with honors from the University of Oklahoma in 2008 with a B.A. in Economics. He received his Juris Doctor from SMU Dedman School of Law in 2012, where he was also inducted into the Order of the Barristers. Mr. Sokatch became licensed in the State of Texas in 2012, and he is also licensed to practice before the Northern District of Texas and the Eastern District of Texas. He is also a member of the Dallas Bar Association, the Dallas Young Lawyers Association, and the State Bar.
