Marla Pittman

Attorney at Law

Marla Pittman practices in the areas of commercial litigation, business litigation, and personal injury law and is Board Certified in Personal Injury Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. But for the last several years her focus has been on family matters, helping people find creative solutions to very personal issues.   She received a B.A. from the University of West Florida in 1995 and her J.D. from Baylor University in 1998.

She is a member of the State Bar of Texas and the American Bar Association, the Dallas Bar Association. Marla is also admitted to the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Texas. Marla speaks Spanish, although she makes no claim of being fluent.

Marla is a lifetime member of the Texas Family Law Foundation. The Texas Family Law Foundation, founded in 2001, works closely in the legislative process on family law issues to help pass needed legislation and prevent bad legislation in family law from getting passed.

In 2015 Marla was selected to become a Fellow in the Texas Bar Foundation—an honor bestowed upon only the top 1/3 of 1% of Texas lawyers.  The Texas Bar Foundation participates in projects throughout Texas that further legal services for the underserved, ethics and professionalism in the legal profession and administration of justice.

Marla is active locally as well, participating in local politics and her neighborhood events and services.
