A native to North Texas, family law attorney Emily Hayes has devoted her practice exclusively to family law and she understands and appreciates this very personal and sensitive niche. She has experience handling multiple aspects of family law matters including divorce, child custody, protective orders, enforcement of prior orders, temporary restraining orders, modification of prior orders, pre- and post-marital agreements, and mediations.

She chose to practice family law because she has always had a passion for helping others and thrives on the personal touch of family law. Emily’s goal is to protect the interests of her clients by focusing on their individual needs regarding both the emotional and financial issues involved in family disputes.

Apart from her professional career, Emily serves her community of Dallas as a member of the Dallas Bar Association.

Emily graduated from Southern Methodist University with Bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and Philosophy. She earned her J.D. from SMU Dedman School of Law in 2015. While at SMU Dedman School of Law, Emily was an executive officer of Women in Law and the Tax Law Society, and a student attorney in the Business Clinic.
