Ernest W. Leonard

Ernest W. Leonard practices business and commercial litigation in state courts, federal courts and arbitration.

He received a B.B.A. from the University of Texas at Arlington in 1986, and his J.D. from the University of Texas at Austin in 1989.

Mr. Leonard is certified as a Civil Trial Law Specialist by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization and is “AV rated” by Martindale-Hubbell. He has been licensed to practice in the State of Texas since 1989, and is admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Northern, Southern, Eastern, and Western Districts of Texas. Mr. Leonard is a member of the Dallas Bar Association and State Bar of Texas. He is a former law clerk to the Honorable Robert C. McGuire, Chief Judge, United States Bankruptcy Court, Northern District of Texas, Dallas Division.
