JANELLE FRIEDMAN is often described as a modern-day Renaissance woman. She is an expert at balancing her career, civic and philanthropic leadership, and her roles as author, inventor and mentor. In addition, she has raised six children.

As CEO, Janelle has launched a national beauty product company called GoodJanes.  GoodJanes uses naturally-derived ingredients to promote health conscious options for its user, without compromising on product luxury or quality.

As part of the GoodJanes brand, Janelle invented the patented, popular Kiss My Lash mirror, a triangulated, three-dimensional mirror that allows the user to see upper lashes and lower lashes from all angles. GoodJanes sells a large selection of handmade eyelashes made with 100% cruelty-free mink fur and two luxurious mascaras that are vegan-friendly. The company also has a skin care line with all of the skin care items made with naturally derived ingredients and infused with plant/vegetable/fruit stem cells.  All items are vegan and never tested on animals.

As COO of Friedman & Feiger, LLP, she manages the day-to-day business operations of this award-winning, Dallas-based law firm. She has been the law firm’s Chief Operating Officer since 1986 and is also a certified paralegal.

Janelle handles all business aspects of the company from marketing and new business development to revenue and finances as well as personnel and day-to-day problem solving.

Janelle is the author of You Are Invited which takes readers through some of Janelle’s biggest parties including a destination wedding, a fundraiser for one thousand guests and her “One Night Only” event filled with celebrity entertainers plus open houses and family holiday celebrations.

She is the founder of Essential Energy, a community service concept that provides opportunity for women in business to network, grow businesses and to learn professional success tips from motivational business leaders and celebrities.

Janelle is an active member of the community and generously donates her time to worthwhile causes.

Janelle created the curriculum for an etiquette program for students who attend Texans Can Academies, a non-profit, drop-out recovery high school system. Texans Can Academies has adopted her program in all of its Texas campuses, and the program is now named the Janelle Friedman Etiquette Program.

Recognized for exemplifying family and community leadership, Janelle and her husband, Larry, were honored in 2018 at the Texans Can Academy Cares For Kids luncheon for their generosity and dedication to helping children overcome obstacles.

The F&F Foundation was founded by Janelle and Larry as a charitable organization which benefits children. Each year, Friedman & Feiger, LLP donates time and fund-raising for notable charities. Millions of dollars have been raised through the F&F Foundation for worthy charities such as Wednesday’s Child, Children’s Medical Center and the Salvation Army’s Gene and Jerry Jones Center For Children, among others.

She has been a member of the Board of Directors of the Aaron Family Jewish Community Center and the Dallas Opera. She has also served as a Stradivarius member of the Dallas Symphony Orchestra. She was also Co-Chair for the Opening Ceremonies of the Dallas Macabee Games, Co-Chair of the opening of Congregation Anshai Torah Synagogue and is a KidneyTexas lifetime member.

She commits her time, talent and monetary donations to the Wheel To Survive benefit to find a cure for ovarian cancer, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Muscular Dystrophy Association, Gilda’s Club, Paws Cause, the SPCA, the Fur Ball, the Epilepsy Research Foundation, the Jewish Community Center, the National Kidney Foundation and Texans Can Academies, among many others.

KidneyTexas honored Janelle with the Sue Goodnight Award in appreciation of her passion for KidneyTexas and her efforts to help charities. She was also awarded the Women That Soar award and the NFL Hall of Famer Michael Irvin Playmaker Community Service Award. The Dallas Business Journal named Janelle “a business leader to watch.”

A native of Dallas, Janelle was raised in a large family in which “good manners, great style and the highest integrity are our most important values.” She attended Hillcrest High School and graduated from the University of Texas in Austin. Today, Janelle lives in Dallas with her husband. They have six children and two grandchildren.
