Marcos Ronquillo said he’s already managed his own law firm for three decades, now he’d like to run the city where he’s practiced all those years as Dallas’ mayor.
“I decided, given where I am in my professional law practice and career, that it was time to throw my hat in the ring for public service,” said Ronquillo, who announced his mayoral bid on Nov. 11 near a pothole on an East Dallas street to emphasize the need for improvement in basic services.
