Miguel J. Gomez

Miguel joined the firm in April of 2026 and works in the firm’s litigation department.

Miguel earned his law degree in Venezuela in 2004 and later earned a Master’s Degree in Business Law. He attended Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law and graduated with a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in International and Comparative Law.

Miguel has worked in the legal industry for over twenty (20) years, gaining experience in a variety of areas including civil and commercial litigation, family law, corporate law, regulatory compliance, public contracting, judicial administration, and the oil and gas industry. Prior to continuing his legal career in the United States, Miguel served as Secretary of a Court of Appeals in Venezuela and held legal and compliance positions within the oil and gas industry in his home country.

Miguel is licensed to practice law in Venezuela and has been certified as a Foreign Legal Consultant in Texas. He is fluent in English and Spanish and brings extensive international legal experience and a bilingual perspective to the firm’s litigation practice.
